This restaurant came highly recommended by one of my coworkers who used to work for the Cincinnati Bengals. Located in the Over the Rhine district, this cozy spot is rumored to have a pretty sweet rooftop bar, a fact alone that will have us returning when the weather is warmer.
Joined by another couple, our friends Tiffany and Austin, we were excited to get in and order some food. After ordering our drinks, Tiff and Austin decided on the Hot Beer Cheese that comes with soft pretzels, while Nolan and I split the Bacon Burger. It’s not our normal move to split food at new places, but it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I wasn’t super hungry (sorry babe).
When our food came, we all dug in. We split our burger in half and divided the fries and I’ll tell you what, Nolan is lucky I didn’t steal his half of this dish. The burger had cheese, bacon, mixed greens, bacon mayo (!!), Dijoinnaise, and I gave my pickles to Nolan. It all was SO good, and whatever dipping sauce came with the fries was amazing (I’m a big sauce fan, whether it’s for dipping or tossing food in). Tiffany and Austin also loved their pretzels and cheese, as did I when I stole a little 🙂
I know for a fact we’ll be back when the weather gets warmer for more good drinks, great food, and to experience the best times together with our friends.
